UrbanTrekkers live by a covenant. It sets a high bar for character development and the pursuit of excellence. To keep it requires us to lead by example and to work together by encouraging and supporting each other in the places we feel most vulnerable. Each year UrbanTrekkers provides outdoor leadership training along the Appalachian Trail that pushes and challenges students to work as a team to produce their best. This training prepares UrbanTrekkers for a Senior Rite of Passage trip that is designed to help students transition from our program to college and life after UrbanPromise.
